The #sendateacher fundraising initiative got off to a great start and sent TWO teachers to #SHAPEBoston, the SHAPE America national conference in 2017. The following year, not only did we send two Nashville Public School teachers to #SHAPENashville, but we also raised money for a school that was wiped out by #HurricaneHarvey, we supported two Go Fund Me campaigns and we paid SHAPE America membership for four teachers.

We are now raising money to send at least two Tampa Public School teachers to the SHAPE America convention in Tampa in April 2019.

You can support this initiative by purchasing shirts, posting pictures of you wearing the shirt, spreading the word on social media using the hashtag #sendateacher and encouraging others to assist a teacher who would not have the opportunity to attend #SHAPETampa. Together, as a PE/Health community we have the ability to help someone else.
